1820 does not guarantee outcomes, results, healing, or responses. This is a community platform of encouragement, not a counselling or medical service.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Submit harmful, abusive, hateful, or inappropriate content

  • Upload copyrighted material you do not own

  • Impersonate another person

  • Misuse the audio recording feature

  • Use the service for spam, advertising, or promotion

  • Attempt to hack, exploit, or disrupt the site

1820 reserves the right to remove any content at its discretion.

4. Content Ownership

Your Content

You retain ownership of the prayers you submit.
However, by submitting content (text or audio), you grant 1820 a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

  • Display your prayer on the prayer wall

  • Store and process your audio recordings

  • Send your content to users responding to your prayer

  • Use anonymised examples for product improvement

We never sell your content to third parties.

1820’s Content

All branding, design, code, and platform elements belong exclusively to 1820 and may not be copied or reproduced.

5. Use of Voice Recordings

By recording audio on 1820, you:

  • Consent to your voice being processed, stored, and delivered to the requester

  • Understand audio is kept securely

  • Understand 1820 is not responsible for how prayer recipients choose to use or interpret the audio

You may request deletion of your recordings at any time.

6. Community Guidelines

Users must behave respectfully.
We may suspend or ban users who:

  • Harass others

  • Submit offensive or explicit content

  • Abuse the platform’s purpose

  • Attempt fraudulent submissions

7. Limitation of Liability

1820 is a spiritual support tool, not a professional service.
We are not liable for:

  • Emotional outcomes

  • Medical decisions

  • Personal actions

  • Any damages resulting from use of the platform

You use 1820 at your own discretion.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep 1820 online 24/7 but cannot guarantee:

  • No interruptions

  • No data loss

  • No delayed messages

We may update or modify the platform at any time.

9. Account, Data & Deletion

You may request:

  • Deletion of your prayers

  • Removal of voice recordings

  • Deletion of your email from our system
